Skeletal dynamics have innovated a joint stabilization system to make our lives easier. They seem to be inspired by the steam-punk designs and pulled one out of their hats. Behold the IJS-E - Internal Joint Stabiliser of the Elbow. This ‘Internal’ hinged exfix protects the repair and allows immediate ROM of the joint.
It is promising. Check out the results of this multicentre trial. After all, any Frankenstein fan would want this in their elbow.
